Rated 4 out of 5 by HappyGirl2578 from Quality Shoulder pack for an Emergency Nice comfortable should strap backpack that comes with medical essentials, along with a water pouch, poncho, blanket and whistle. The pack is sturdy, however the medical supplies like bandaids are all just thrown in front pocket, I had to organize and place nicely in a plastic bag and put back into pack. I also added a few granola bars for a true emergency preparedness, and will add a mini flashlight. The pack is good to start and great when you add a few more items. I would recommend as the strap is comfy to wear and the color helps it stand out when you aren't trying to think hard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kramdawg89 from Solid deal I keep this in the SUV for basic preparedness. It has all the basic items you'd need in any emergency. I really like it for the vehicle for the small things like scrapes and cuts. The main reason I keep it in the car is in case I run out of gas at night or in the rain. The poncho and light stick are really handy for that. The bag that everything comes in is small enough to tuck under a seat or small compartment yet big enough to put other items in as needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joema from A great start. All and all its a really good start for a med kit for in my truck. As long as you resupply as it's used. I found no issues with the items inside. The make up the bulk of what you should have. I suggest adding a few tampons and maxi pads as well as duct tape. They always come in handy and don't forget the quick clot. I feel confident it would cover most daily issue. Quality of the items inside as well as the bag are more than acceptable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tomolo from Super Basic If I were in a real disaster I would be happy to find this among the wreckage. I would not, however, consider myself prepared with this as my only disaster kit. It is better described as a basic first aid kit plus a couple of handy survival items. It might be good for a car or for a mom to keep around the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jim27 from Good Start for Overall Emergency Preparedness I'm one of those people who has been taught from childhood that there are a few basic pieces of equipment you try never to be without. Not for the day when civilization goes to pieces and you find your entire life now headed off the grid, those days when you're going about your normal routine and suddenly find yourself needing something, whether it be a Band Aid, an improvised handheld light or a raincoat. That's where -and when - the Emergency Preparedness 1 Day Backpack can be a lifesaver- literally. It's a small blaze orange backpack that has very limited quantities of those little emergency items. A small first aid kit, gauze pads, alcohol wipes, an adult poncho, a snap and squeeze light sticks, and even a single serving of water are all inside the pack. It takes up nearly no space in a trunk, but the blaze orange makes it very easy to find in case of emergency. It's not a comprehensive first aid or roadside breakdown kit- but it is the basics you can find yourself in need of whether you're driving cross country or have taken the kids to play in the park. Accidents happen. Thankfully, most of them are the kind where this basic type of kit fits the bill. With plenty of space in the little pack, you can easily fit in a bottle of sunscreen and bug repellent for those little rambles in the park. If you decide to go a little further afield, there's more than enough room for some energy bars, more water and even a flashlight and knife. With the basics covered and room to expand, this little backpack can be a lifesaver- literally.
