Our Company

Leaving the Status Quo in the Dust

At First Aid Only, pushing the envelope isn’t merely a catch-phrase. It’s our commitment. Since Mark Miller founded the company in 1988, First Aid Only has doggedly pursued new and better ways of developing, packaging and distributing first aid products, making them available to the most people at the fairest price.

And we’ve succeeded by not worrying about what the industry was doing—an amazingly liberating decision, if we do say so ourselves. Thus, rather than getting bogged down in the mire of trying to keep up with the Joneses, we’ve stayed focused on the important things: how to best meet the actual first aid needs of Americans in actual, real-life scenarios.

Over the past 20 years, First Aid Only has consistently developed cutting-edge, first-of-a-kind products and solutions for first aid and, most recently, emergency preparedness. Additionally, we continue to regularly join forces with some of the most well-known humanitarian and healthcare organizations in the world.

It All Started in a Garage

The American garage is home to many things: mystery boxes, tool sets, bicycles, rock bands, bugs, and sometimes even cars. For Mark Miller, his 500-square-foot garage once served as mission control for a new business idea to develop and supply innovative and practical first aid products at a fair price.

Fast-forward 20 years and his idea has flourished into a well-respected national company. Enjoying a bit more elbow room these days, First Aid Only is headquartered in a modern 54,000 square-foot office and manufacturing facility in Vancouver, Washington, has a 1,000-strong distributor network, and currently owns 40% of the retail market for first aid kits.

How We Make a Difference
